Deep Cleaning

Deep Cleaning is where the interiors open up. Inside the refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Cabinetry, drawers and shelves. Counters degreased rather than wiped. Interior windows including the sills and tracks. Baseboards, trim, vents, fans and shelving hand-wiped rather than dusted.
It takes considerably longer than a Standard Clean, and it is the usual starting point for a home that has not had regular help. Most households book a Deep Clean once to set the baseline, then hold it with Standard visits on a schedule.
It is also what to book after a renovation, before a move, or any time the house has got away from you. There is no judgment in that. It is the most common reason people call us for the first time.

- Interior and exterior cleaning of the refrigerator, microwave, oven and dishwasher, plus cabinetry, drawers and shelves
- Stovetop detailing including burners, grates, drip pans and controls
- Cabinet face wipe-down, countertop degreasing and sanitization
- Sink and faucet polishing, with calcium and lime descaling where needed
Bathrooms
- Toilet deep clean and sanitation: bowl, base, seat, handle and tank exterior
- Bathtub and shower wipe-out, including descaling of tile, glass and fixtures
- Mirror polishing, sink basin cleaning, light fixture detailing and vanity wipe-down
- Floor mopping and vacuuming
- Baseboards, vents and extractor fans hand-wiped
- Switch plates and outlet covers wiped
Living areas & bedrooms
- Interior window cleaning including sills and tracks
- Vacuuming and mopping of all floors with appropriate degreasers and disinfectants
- Baseboards, trim, vents, ceiling fans and shelving hand-wiped
- Switch plates and outlet covers wiped
- Furniture surfaces and the fireplace, where there is one, dusted and wiped
- Spot-cleaning of walls and doors for smudges, handprints and marks
- Trash removal and general reset of the space

Deep Cleaning questions
How is this different from a Standard Clean?
Depth. Standard cleans surfaces and exteriors; Deep opens up appliance and cabinet interiors, degreases rather than wipes, and takes in window tracks, light fixtures and hand-wiped trim. It takes considerably longer.
Do I need a Deep Clean every time?
No, and we would not sell you one. Deep is the reset. After it, a Standard Clean on a schedule holds the result for less.
How far ahead should I book?
A Deep Clean takes a bigger block of time, so it needs more notice than a routine visit. Call and we will give you a real date rather than an optimistic one.
