What it's actually like
Most of the week is homes, offices and event venues. Some of it is restoration work: after a flood, a fire, or a death in the family. That side of the job carries real weight, and the people who do it are the ones a family remembers years later.
It takes a particular kind of person. Steady, discreet, and able to walk into a difficult situation and still see someone's home rather than a job site. If that is you, the technical side is entirely teachable, and we teach it.
Most roles need no prior experience. Reliability and the right temperament are the parts we cannot train. Everything else we will.
